FanFest Sailing Regatta
(Sept 29) ~ 7:30 am Registration; 10:15 am First Race

Come enjoy the simple pleasures of wind, water and sails at the Breeders’ Cup FanFest Regatta. Three races are scheduled with more than 100 sailing vessels anticipated. Trophies will be awarded for 1st – 3rd place to each fleet, skipper and crew. The Regatta is limited to boats in five specific classifications. Registration time is 7:30 am, First Race 10:15 am.
Spectators are welcome to enjoy the views from the Shrewsbury Sailing and Yacht Club for a $10 fee. For more information call 732.571.4916.
FanFest Polo Match (Oct. 14) ~ 2- 4 pm

The excitement of a live polo match, right here in Oceanport!
The Oceanport Sports Foundation in conjunction with the Colts Neck Polo Executive Committee presents the Breeders' Cup FanFest Polo Match. A special half-time event will include a presentation by the Monmouth County Hunt presenting riders and hounds. A portion of the proceeds will benefit RERUN, Inc. FanFest 5K Run (Oct 20) ~ 11 am
Monmouth Park Racetrack
The 5K is fun for the whole family! The course is on flat, paved roads
with the last ¼ mile run on the racetrack to cross the finish line!

Fund and the Oceanport Volunteer Emergency Services, which includes the First Aid

The Breeders’ Cup FanFest celebrates the excitement and legacy of The Breeders’ Cup with a three day festival on October 19 - 21, 2007 complete with rides, continuous live entertainment, unique crafters and vendors, antiques, a beer tent, Farmers’ Market and fun-filled activities for the whole family. Attendance to this event, held on the grounds of Monmouth Park Racetrack is free and open to the public.
In addition, NJoy: Food & Wine Tasting, a separate event showcasing the top chefs and restaurants of the Garden State, will be held on Saturday, October 20 from
6:00 – 9:00 pm in a private tent located within the FanFest event grounds. Hosted by New Jersey Monthly magazine, the event will highlight the region’s finest chef creations with some of the state’s best restaurants in attendance. Special printed recipes with wine pairings will be presented to each attendee along with other special giveaways.
