CLASS II SPECIAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER– OCEANPORT BOROUGH POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Borough of Oceanport, NJ is now accepting applications for the position of Class II Special Law Enforcement Officer. Applicants must possess: 1) a current New Jersey Police Training Commission Certification from an accredited police academy for either: Waiver eligible Class II Special Law Enforcement Officer; 2) a valid New Jersey Driver’s License and 3) Meet all qualifications of N.J.S.A 40A:14-146 et seq.; 4) EMT certification a plus. Interested candidates should complete and submit application and release waiver form no later than 4:30 p.m. on November 15, 2018, or until filled, to: Jeanne Smith, Borough Clerk, 315 E. BOROUGH ADMINISTRATOR – OCEANPORT BOROUGH

The Borough of Oceanport, NJ is now accepting applications for the position of full time Borough Administrator. The Borough Administrator is the chief agent of the Governing Body in the administration of the municipal affairs and in the integration and coordination of activities of the various offices of the Borough. Coordination of personnel, financial administration and general oversight of the Borough’s operations. Attends and delivers a report at all council meetings.
