DPW Laborer Job Opening

DPW Laborer – Oceanport Borough. Seeking a full-time position of Laborer for the Department of Public Works. Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:00pm (37.5 hours per week). Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits package included. Duties include, but are not limited to, buildings & ground maintenance, grass cutting, road maintenance, snow plowing, leaf collection, cleaning of streets, drains, sewers, parks, playgrounds, and public facilities. Applicants must be able to safely operate grass cutting equipment, chainsaws, chippers, snow blowers, leaf machines, and similar Public Works equipment as directed. A valid NJ driver's license is required. CDL Class A or B is preferred; applicants with a CDL Learner's Permit may be considered but must obtain a CDL Class B within one year of hire.
